Script 1

The Portlandia Hipster

I only wear my docs with my high-water ragid jeans

just like how i only bike but not in my designated bike lane

I pair my docs with a classic jean jacket

If I’m not found drinking at a brewery I’m sipping from a mug of an elegant coffee shop

My docs are seen being worn at a concert of a band you have never heard of

i’m always seen with Pierced ears, facial hair, a pair of frames and a slimming hat

hopefully this isn’t too mainstream for you

Script 2

 The Portlandia Art Critique

Shoes: Abella Temperley

Person #1: Hi welcome Dr. Marten’s; can I help you with anything?

Person #2: These Abella Temperley sandals look nice.

Person #1: Yes, yes they do.

These sandals focus on the moment when wanderlust and journey’s collide.

They illustrate an adventure that has yet to be discovered.

The series of crosses among the straps represent the troubles one might get into when on the road of discovery.

But they will help you leap into consciousness and you will find yourself.

Person #2: Huh… Awesome.

Script 3

The Awkward Rapper

Rapper: "So you got those docs on with some cutoff jeans

Lookin' like a punk rocker chillin' with those other emo teens

Strutting all around with those yellow stitched boots

Makin’ fun of those guys in the ties and the suites

Mama always telling me “boy this better be a phase”

But really mama i've been dressing like this for days

The leather the buckles the lace and the sole

I can walk into a party and easily steal the show

You heard the word, you know the drill, it’s not all talk

you can buy em anywhere and soon be chillin' in your docs"
